1. Overview

This Pricing & Refund Policy outlines the financial terms and conditions for using eta.llc, operated by the Examination Testing Agency (ETA). This policy applies to both organizational vendors utilizing our digital infrastructure and candidates paying examination registration fees.

2. Pricing Policy

For Vendors/Organizations:

  • Platform Usage Pricing: The pricing for vendors to use our examination platform ranges from ₹500 to ₹12,00,000 (12 Lakhs). The exact cost is calculated according to the total count of examination users (candidates) and the scale of infrastructure required.
  • Custom Fee Collection: Vendors have the authority to set and charge their own examination fees from candidates. Vendors can configure these fees accordingly within their customized examination application forms hosted on the ETA platform.

For Candidates/Students:

  • Examination fees, registration charges, and admit card processing fees are determined entirely by the respective vendor (educational institution, university, or government body) conducting the exam.
  • All fees displayed on the portal during the registration process are final. Additional convenience fees or payment gateway charges may apply depending on the payment method used.

3. Refund Policy for Candidates

Because examination seats and infrastructure are allocated immediately upon registration, all fees paid are generally non-refundable, with the following strict exceptions:

  • Duplicate Payments: If a candidate is charged multiple times for the same transaction due to a technical error or payment gateway timeout, the extra deducted amount will be refunded.
  • Exam Cancellation: If an examination is entirely canceled by the vendor/institution and no rescheduled date is provided, a refund will be initiated as per the instructions of the respective examining authority.
  • No Refund for Disqualification or Absence: Fees will not be refunded if a candidate fails to appear for the exam, is disqualified for malpractice/cheating, or is rejected due to submitting invalid eligibility documents.

4. Refund Policy for Vendors

Refunds, adjustments, or credits for platform outages, unused student limits, or service disputes will be strictly governed by the signed Service Level Agreement (SLA) between the organization and ETA.

5. Refund Processing

  • How to Request a Refund: Candidates experiencing duplicate charges or valid refund scenarios must raise a ticket through the ETA Grievance Portal within 72 hours of the transaction, providing the transaction ID and proof of payment.
  • Timeline: Approved refunds are typically processed within 7 to 14 business days.
  • Payment Method: Refunds will only be credited back to the original source of payment (e.g., the same credit card, bank account, or UPI ID used during the transaction).

6. Chargebacks and Disputes

If a user initiates a chargeback with their bank or credit card company without first attempting to resolve the issue via our Grievance Portal, their account and exam registration will be immediately suspended pending investigation.
